xx Thanks for your support!
August 14, 2007, 01:55:45 AM by tsubasa
Just this weekend, we had a booth set up in Edmonton's one and only Animethon, maybe some of you have seen us there~

but first of all, I must thank Animethon for letting us have a booth at their exhibition hall, it certainly was fun and gave us alot of publicity! I also must thank all my volunteers that helped out at the booth. And most of all, I must thank all the attendees there that were very supportive to us.

Anywho! Still needing help! Read the previous post for it, post in the forum!

xx Getting ready for the next festival!
May 11, 2007, 01:47:39 AM by tsubasa
Thanks to everybody who attended and supported us for the all these years, our ongoing success has led us to 4th annual year of this wonderful event! Hense, this year's festival will happen on October 6th, 2007(saturday)! All proceeds will continue to go to the Western Guide Dog and Assistance Society. Our entire site has been updated (gallery, events, etc.), if there are any problems, broken links, and the such, don't hesitate to inform us about it!

For the festival to be better than before, we will need much more help than ever! We are making many improvements and adding more events for the attendee's likings. And of course, we will need ALOT of help! So here are the few highlights I would like to mention:

Musical Performances
The new event this year! Musical talents unite! The lot of you out there who can play any sort of instruments, I know you have tried to play a tune to your favorite anime or video game before~ Well here's your chance to perform it live to the crowd! We already have several protential performers lined up, but this event is still in the planning stage, so more is welcome to join! We will pick the best for the audience's pleasures~

J-Trend Fashion Show
A new event from last year that turned out to be a hit! So of course this is going to happen again! This year, we will be making several changes and improvements to the show. It won't exactly be like last year's, and we won't limit ourselves to those genre. We will be expanding further to anything related to J-trend~ It'll be a surprise to the audience! But of course, we will need lots of help! We need models and fashion contributors!

Panels
Panels are what make conventions complete~ Last year's panels were amazing! So this year, I hope there will be people out there willing to run some here! DS or Card Battle anyone?

Para Para
With so much more going on, the dancers for this event will be retiring this year. So! We will talented new dancers willing to demonstrate and perform in their stead! If we don't get anyone, this event might even be canceled!

Maid Café!
Last year's Cafe was a spontaneous last minute trial event, which surprisingly turned out to be pretty successful! So with much more time for planning this year, this event will definetly happen again! With much more variety of refreshments and we will actually have maids do the searving! But our problem is, we need volunteers willing to dress up as maids! To an extent that we'd even provide the maid costumes if need be! They're fancy costumes too, not crappy wal-mart premade ones!

If you are interested in helping us out, or even if you just wanna give us some suggestions/feedbacks. Don't hesitate to post on the forum or contact us about it! You can view more details in the event page.

We are forever in need of sponsors! So if you want to sponsor us, please contact either Vivi or Jenny!

(Or you will be refused to board the bus.)

Sorry for this inconvience and thank you for your cooperation.
